as to my planned tri-adventures next year, I am, for two weeks now, swimming regularly twice a week trying to add some kilometers in the water. Its good fun, and training in a community bath on tuesday evening must be like in the middle of a triathlon starting crowd
Got some good advise out of the book “Vom Couchpotato zum Ironman” as well as some some Freestyle trilling tips from trinewbies.com that I am combining with lanes at slow pace, trying to improve my technique, adding about 2km per session that equal 80x25m lanes.
My equipment for swimming: Zoogs Predator googles, Speedo Endurance+ short.
so far – will go for a short GA run tomorrow morning to close my first “did as planned” training week after the September “brake”.
